Why Boudoir?

Imagine what the world would look like if womxn woke up and could embrace themselves and their bodies? We’re starting a revolution, one away from the male gaze, and in which historically boudoir is done for a husband. In recent years, boudoir has become about you.

Boudoir is a shortcut to confidence: to find it, boost it, and celebrate it. It’s not about being naked, and it’s not completely about the photograph. It’s about the result- an experience in which you are celebrated and have keepsakes to forever look back on it when you need to remember how badass you are.

I create a safe space for people to inhabit their skin, own their bodies, feel free, and ultimately feel seen.

I like to call my session privé because what I strive to photograph is not sexiness in and of itself. What I want to achieve with you is *connection*. As humans, we are hardwired for connection and our brains (and bodies!) crave and thrive when we have meaningful ones.

Deep connection comes from a place of vulnerability: when we open up to someone and let ourselves be seen. I want to see you, and I want to reflect the beauty I see back to you.
